Tailgate Recipes: Appetizer Tree



I came across this awesome appetizer tree yesterday and knew I had to make something similar for one of our upcoming tailgates. The one above was made by Quilting by the River. Most appetizer trees start with a pineapple but then they typically chop the top off. I like that she left the pineapple stalk on. It makes the the whole plate more eye-catching. 

There are some many different options for making an appetizer tree. You can get really creative and healthy with these.  About Home Cooking has a recipe for a basic appetizer tree with meat and cheese.  Betty Crocker has a festive version with olives and cheeses. And a fruit version from Ginger and Garlic
