Taiglate Toys: Barbecue Leg and Wing Rack

They call this the "Genius Barbecue Leg and Wing Rack" for a reason!

Here is my favorite wing recipe.


For the wings:
2-3 lbs. chicken wings or wingettes

For the sauce:
1 can Coca-Cola (12-oz.)
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 medium vidalia onion, chopped into small pcs.
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons water


For the wings: Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat. Cook the wings on the preheated grill, turning occasionally, until the chicken is well browned and no longer pink, 25 to 30 minutes. Place grilled wings in a large bowl. Pour sauce over wings; toss to mix well.

For the sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine the Coca-Cola, brown sugar, onion, garlic, soy sauce, and chipotle powder, and bring to a boil over medium heat. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water. Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
