It's that time again! I can't believe the big OU Texas weekend is here already. Why does the season always seem to fly by? We will be tailgating in our top secret parking/tailgate location that was shared with us by our good friends. It's the perfect location to enjoy some breakfast taquitos and spiked pumpkin spice lattes before the game.
In years past, I like to try and give y'all some of my tips if you will be attending the game.
- Check the weather before leaving your house. The weather changes here quickly in the fall. (Speaking of weather, sending lots of love and prayers to my friends and family in Florida.)
- The stadium is enforcing the maximum 10x10 purse size. Here is more about what you can and can't bring in with you.
- Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes. (I say that every year but it's crucial.) Here is a map of the State Fair exhibits.
- Here is a list of all of the new fried concoctions. Edible cola and the fried pot pie are on my radar!
If you don't have tickets to the game, there are plenty of great watch parties around town. Most bars and restaurants in Uptown will be holding their own Red River parties.
